Refund policy


Returns – In-Stock Items

We offer a 14-day return window on all in-stock items. You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return. Items will be labeled as "In Stock" or "Early order/Pre-order" in the checkout page.

Checkout delivery windows are estimated time frames. Please understand and take into account the order processing time listed at checkout that will be necessary prior to shipping your order to you. 

To be eligible for a return:

The item must be unused, unworn, with tags attached, and in its original packaging.

You must provide proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation email or receipt.

Returns cannot be initiated until the item has been delivered. U.S. orders ship free within 2–5 business days after the order processing time given at checkout.


Returns – Pre-Order & Early-Order Items

Early Order/Pre-orders may be canceled within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.

After 14 days:

Returns are no longer accepted.

Exchanges may be issued only if the item arrives damaged due to careless delivery by the carrier. The Carrier is responsible for compensation to either the customer or company for the damages. 

If the product becomes out of stock or unavailable, you may request a refund or store credit toward another in-stock item.

Please note that early orders/pre-orders may require 4–6 weeks for order processing prior to delivery.  Checkout delivery windows are estimated time frames for early order/pre-order items. If you order this item for pre-order please account for the potential processing time that may be necessary as listed between 4-6 weeks. 

Please note refunds or returns cannot be accepted on early order/pre-orders after 14 days from the purchase date.

Warranty – Rene Lavelanet Bags, Totes, and Purses

All bags, totes, and purses are covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase.

What’s Covered:

Manufacturing defects in materials, hardware, stitching, or craftsmanship

What’s Not Covered:

Normal wear and tear

Accidental or cosmetic damage

Misuse or damage from water, travel, or overloading

To qualify:

You must provide proof of purchase.

The product will be inspected by Rene Lavelanet to determine if the issue qualifies under warranty.

If approved, Rene Lavealnet will cover 100% of repair or replacement costs, including shipping.

How to Start a Return

Email shoprl@renelavealnet.com with your order number and reason for return.

If approved, we will send you a prepaid return shipping label and instructions.

Do not return items without approval — they will not be accepted.

After we receive and inspect the item, approved refunds will be issued within 3–7 business days to your original payment method. Processing time may vary depending on your bank.

If more than 7 business days have passed since your refund was approved, contact your bank or payment provider first. If the issue persists, contact us.


Damaged, Incorrect, or Defective Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is:

Damaged during shipping

Incorrect

Defective

Contact us immediately. We’ll evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.


Exchanges

To exchange an item, we recommend returning it first. Once your return is accepted, you can place a new order for the desired product.
Exchanges are only accepted for damaged or defective items that meet return policy requirements.


Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns on:

Final sale items

Gift cards

Personalized or custom items

Perishable goods (e.g., food or flowers)

Beauty and personal care items

Hazardous materials (e.g., flammable liquids)

Items damaged after successful delivery

All products are carefully inspected and securely packaged before shipping.


EU Customers – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is delivered within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return it within 14 days of delivery, for any reason.

The item must be:

Unused and unworn

In its original packaging with tags

Accompanied by proof of purchase

Returns that do not meet these requirements will not be accepted.
